The Hudson Regional Cancer Centre (HRCC) is seeking a full time Locum Medical Oncologist for 6 months starting October 1, 2024. HRCC opened in June 2012, providing state-of-the-art care to residents living in Simcoe Muskoka.
The Position
We are seeking a locum Medical Oncologist to join our progressive team of 9 Medical Oncologists, 10 Radiation Oncologists anda comprehensive interdisciplinary team of cancer care professionals committed to delivering exceptional care to the residents of Simcoe Muskoka.Compensation will be provided by the AFP model LOA coverage model. Expertise in Melanoma, Gynecologic malignancy, CNS malignancy would be an asset, but not required.
Qualifications
- Ontario Medical License and current certificate with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario
- A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada with certification in Medical Oncology and /or Internal Medicine providing Oncology Services
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate teamwork, collaboration, and partnerships
- Dynamic and adaptive with the ability to thrive in a changing and evolving environment
