The Department of Medicine and the Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Ottawa and The Ottawa Hospital is looking for an academic Medical Oncologist to join a group of 28 academic physicians. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will function as an academic physician. This position will consist of a 0.7 full-time practice treating breast malignancies as a major site and gynecological malignancies as a minor site. Qualifications: The successful candidate must hold a MD degree; be a member of, or be eligible to be a member of, the Canadian Medical Protective Association; have, or be eligible for certification in Medical Oncology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and have, or be eligible for, licensure in Ontario; and, be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Medicine at the rank of Lecturer or higher. Applicants must demonstrate specialized training and/or significant experience in managing breast cancer malignancies.
