    The Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre (DGLDUHC) in Moncton, New Brunswick, is seeking to recruit a full-time specialist and a locum in Medical Oncology. The DGLDUHC is a level 3 trauma centre and medical training centre affiliated with the Université de Sherbrooke.

    • Diploma from an approved school of medicine supplemented by post-graduate study in the area of specialization (Oncology) ;
    • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certificate (FRCPC);
    • Eligible for licensure of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New-Brunswick;
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
    • Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
    • Good work history (performance and attendance);
    • Adherence to professional ethical principles and to the Network’s management philosophy, and organizational values;

    The Chief and Medical Director, Oncology (Chief/Medical Director) reports to the Vice President, Patient Care Services as Medical Director and reports to the Chair of MAC/Chief of Staff as Program Chief. The Chief/Medical Director, together with the Program Director, will be responsible for THP’s Oncology Program, a large high functioning, multi-site, Regional Cancer Program providing services to the Mississauga Halton and Central West region.

    Cancer Care Alberta, Alberta Health Services is accepting applications for a two-years temporary full time Medical Oncologist position at the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre (MEYCC) in Medicine Hat, Alberta. 

    The successful applicant will become a member of a multidisciplinary cancer program located at the Margery E.Yuill Cancer Centre (MEYCC) site in Medicine Hat, Alberta, and will join a team of medical staff, Nurse Practitioners and medical support staff working in the South Zone. This position is a frontline patient care position. In conjunction with Alberta Health Services appointment the successful candidate will be offered a clinical appointment with the University of Calgary.

    The Department of Oncology, Cancer Care Alberta, Division of Medical Oncology at the Cross Cancer Institute (CCI), with Alberta Health Services is accepting applications for a full-time Hematologist/Medical Oncologist with expertise/training in management of lymphoma and myeloma.

    Qualifications:

    • Qualifications include an MD, certification in Internal Medicine, special competency in Medical Oncology/ Hematology (or equivalent), additional specialized training and experience in Malignant Hematology and eligibility for licensure in the Province of Alberta. 
    • Candidates should have additional specialized training in the area of malignant lymphoid disease, as well as training and experience with cell therapy (BMT and CarT). Familiarity with early drug development/phase1 would be an asset.

    Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is currently recruiting for a full-time Medical Oncologist to join our Regional Cancer Program in Northwestern Ontario.

    Remuneration/ Incentives: This position is funded through an Alternate Funding Plan (AFP) with the Ontario Medical Oncologist Association (ONTMOA). On call stipend is offered. Relocation costs are covered up to $3000.00 and recruitment and retention incentives are offered through Health Force Ontario, up to $80,000.00 if eligible.

    Qualifications and Position Requirements: Candidates must be certified in Medical Oncology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent), have an MD, hold an independent license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Any additional training in would be advantageous. All candidates must be either Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

    The Cancer Care Program of Eastern Health Eastern invites expressions of interest for a locum Medical Oncologist at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre at the Health Sciences Center for the period of July 1 to October 31, 2022.

    The successful candidate will join nine other Medical Oncologists as a full time clinical equivalent and will be responsible for treating a variety of malignancies, inpatient and outpatient clinical consultation service, as well as on-call service. On-call coverage will consist of 4 weeks (one week per month) throughout the locum. Candidate will also be expected to participate in relevant peer review and multidisciplinary tumour boards.

    To be considered candidates must hold a Medical Degree, an FRCPC in Medical Oncology or equivalent, and be eligible for licensure in the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador. Clinical expertise in the management of non-gynecological solid tumour malignancies is essential. Working knowledge of Aria software would be considered an asset.
