    The Department of Oncology at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Division of Medical Oncology, is accepting applications for a full-time academic Medical Oncologist position to begin July 1, 2026.  The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary cancer program and a team of Medical Oncologists, Hematologists, and Radiation Oncologists at the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario.  This position is to fill an existing vacancy within the University.

    Qualified applicants will hold an MD degree (or equivalent), certification in Internal Medicine, with special competency in Medical Oncology/ Hematology (or equivalent).  Additional Fellowship training beyond Royal College certification or additional post-graduate degrees would be advantageous.  Candidates must be eligible for licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.  Preference will be given to those who either hold or are eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

    Cancer Care Alberta in conjunction with the University of Calgary, are seeking a 1.0 FTE Medical Oncologist to start as soon as possible at the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre (MEYCC) in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

    Qualifications and Position Requirements
    Qualifications include an MD, certification in Internal Medicine, special competency in Medical Oncology (or equivalent), and eligibility for licensure in the Province of Alberta.

    Cancer Care Alberta, Alberta Health Services, Community Oncology invite applications for a full-time clinician within the discipline of Hematology and Hematological Malignancies. The successful applicant will become a member of a multidisciplinary cancer program located at the Central Alberta Cancer Centre in Red Deer, Alberta, and will join a team of Medical and Radiation Oncologists, Nurse Practitioners and medical support staff working in the Central Zone.

    BC Cancer is looking for a full time or part time Medical Oncologist to join our experienced team of three Medical Oncologists and three FTE General Practitioners in Oncology at the McMurtry-Baerg Cancer Centre in Vernon, BC.

    As an Oncologist at the McMurtry-Baerg Cancer Centre, you will be part of a close-knit team of physicians, clerical staff, nursing staff, pharmacists, social workers, and dietitians.  You will be able to easily access the local surgeons, radiologists and pathologists to discuss cases, and will have flexibility with your clinic schedule.  As a BC Cancer Medical Oncologist, you will have the support of provincial tumour groups, and provincial and regional tumour board conferences are available for case discussions.  You also have the opportunity to support clinical trial enrollment, increasing research and care opportunities. Membership on the faculty of UBC is encouraged; our centre participates in the UBC Southern Medical Program and we encourage second year, third year ICC medical students and Family Practice/Internal Medicine to residents to rotate through on their electives.  Vernon is also involved as a site in the CAMO Community Oncology Bursary program.

    Eligible applicants have obtained Fellowship standing with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, or accepted equivalent if International, and have obtained or are working towards a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology or accepted equivalent.  Applicants must also be eligible for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia and meet the requirements of credentialing by the Medical Advisory Committee of the BC Cancer.  In addition, applicants must be eligible for a clinical appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia and for appointment to the Medical Staff at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

    The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency provides leadership in health promotion, early detection, treatment and research for cancer. The Cancer Agency operates two treatment centres: the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina and the Saskatoon Cancer Centre.

    Our medical oncologists provide care as members of teams, which include nurses, pharmacists, radiation therapists, oncologists, surgeons, social workers, volunteers and palliative care staff. Cancer care is extended to surrounding communities through the Community Oncology Program of Saskatchewan. Participation on clinical trials in collaboration with cooperative groups and industry is a major focus of activity for our oncologists. They are members of cooperative clinical trial groups as Alliance, NCIC CTG, and NRG. Our oncologists are also involved in teaching medical students and residents.
