    The Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Oncology, Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University, and Hamilton Health Sciences are seeking an exceptional candidate committed to pursuing a full-time academic career in Medical Oncology. The successful candidate would ideally be in their early to mid career with a strong interest in research and or educational activities. This individual would be expected to take on a leadership role in research within the Division of Medical Oncology and function in mentoring roles for junior faculty. Opportunities may exist for leadership roles within the Department of Oncology, depending on the individual’s interests, training and experience. We are open to discussion about the areas of clinical work that the successful applicant would contribute to within the Division. In general, medical oncologists would be expected to have a primary area of clinical interest and contribute to clinical service / research activities in a second disease site. Candidates would also be expected to participate in the medical oncology on call roster and the ward consultation service for Hamilton Health Sciences Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre. A hospitalist program as MRP exists for the daily management of oncology inpatients.

    We are looking for a medical oncologist for a permanent position in Regina. Preferred candidates will have obtained or be in the process of working towards Fellowship standing in Medical Oncology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or have an equivalent education, training and experience. Our oncologists are eligible for a clinical appointment in the Division of Oncology, College of Medicine at the local university. In accordance with Canadian immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada. A competitive compensation package is offered and will be commensurate with experience. The salary range for this position is $327,209 - $422,266 plus benefits.
