    Currently, we are inviting applications for two Radiation Oncologists to join our clinical team in a new Cancer Centre with radiation therapy services in Corner Brook, NL.

    Our Radiation Oncologists participate actively in multidisciplinary rounds, site-based peer review, departmental meetings, clinical trials, and work closely with colleagues within the provincial cancer care program. As a full-time clinical equivalent, they will be responsible for treating at least two main disease sites and one minor disease site, as well as palliative management of other sites.  Services in Corner Brook will be for outpatient care and will not include an on-call or inpatient service.  The Western Memorial Regional Hospital is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland Labrador and this position also offers an opportunity for teaching and scholarly activities including clinical trial participation.

    The Juravinski Cancer Centre at Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a full time locum Medical Oncologist to work within the Division of Medical Oncology at the Juravinski Cancer Centre. The position is for the period of April 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024, and will be offered initially for a six-month term.     We are currently in search of highly qualified Medical Oncologists to join our team at regional cancer centres and satellite clinics. As a Medical Oncologist, you will be part of a well-established team of Medical and Radiation Oncologists within your selected centre, and more broadly, within the provincial structure for oncology care. You will be responsible for providing top-notch oncology consultation, patient care, teaching, and research as part of the interdisciplinary care team.

    We are seeking an outstanding and visionary cancer trialist for the position of Senior Investigator (SI). Expertise in cancer clinical trial methods and conduct is required. Interest/expertise in investigational new drugs, symptom science/supportive care, patient reported outcomes, application of real world evidence and clinical trials is desirable but not required. As one of our Senior Investigators you will be co-principal investigator of individual trials, and leader within the CCTG program and the CCTG scientific committees. Senior Investigators also have Faculty appointments at Queen’s University. 

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • MD or PhD.
    • MD candidates should have specialty qualifications in an oncology related discipline (medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, hematology).
    • Graduate or fellowship training in a relevant field, for example, clinical epidemiology, clinical pharmacology, clinical trials, is preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant field.
    • Meet criteria for appointment to an appropriate Department at Queen’s University.

    The Department of Oncology, Cancer Care Alberta, Alberta Health Services, Community Oncology in conjunction with University of Calgary invite applications for a full-time Medical Oncologist position at the Jack Ady Cancer Centre (JACC) in Lethbridge, Alberta.

    This position will be required to be located at the Jack Ady Cancer Centre (JACC), Lethbridge Alberta as primary location with shared participation in a Medical Oncology outreach at the Margery E Yuill Cancer Centre (MEYCC), Medicine Hat, Alberta.

    The successful applicant will become a member of a multidisciplinary cancer program located at the Jack Ady Cancer Centre (JACC) site in Lethbridge, Alberta, and will join a team of Medical and Radiation Oncologists, Nurse Practitioners and medical support staff working in the South Zone.

    Qualifications include an MD, certification in Internal Medicine, special competency in Medical Oncology, a fellowship in Medical Oncology and be eligible for licensure in the Province of Alberta.
