    The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency provides leadership in health promotion, early detection, treatment and research for cancer. The Cancer Agency operates two treatment centres: the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina and the Saskatoon Cancer Centre.

    Our medical oncologists provide care as members of teams, which include nurses, pharmacists, radiation therapists, oncologists, surgeons, social workers, volunteers and palliative care staff. Cancer care is extended to surrounding communities through the Community Oncology Program of Saskatchewan. Participation on clinical trials in collaboration with cooperative groups and industry is a major focus of activity for our oncologists. They are members of cooperative clinical trial groups as Alliance, NCIC CTG, and NRG. Our oncologists are also involved in teaching medical students and residents.

    We are seeking an outstanding and visionary cancer trialist for the position of Senior Investigator (SI) with a focus on Hematology. Expertise in cancer clinical trial methods and conduct is required. Interest/expertise in investigational new drugs, symptom science/supportive care, patient reported outcomes, application of real world evidence and clinical trials is desirable but not required.  As one of our Senior Investigators you will be co-principal investigator of individual trials, and leader within the CCTG program and the CCTG scientific committees. Senior Investigators also have Faculty appointments at Queen’s University.

    The successful candidates will join an internationally recognized group of cancer trial experts. They will participate in scientific and policy decision-making of the CCTG, provide scientific and administrative leadership to the overall scientific strategy of the group, identify new research opportunities, contribute to CCTG / trial activities within an inclusive, diverse, collaborative, and healthy work environment.  Senior Investigators are leaders within the scientific committees in their areas of responsibility and mentors/teachers for students and trainees.  MD Senior Investigators have the opportunity for limited clinical practice.

    The Cancer Centre of South Eastern Ontario in Kingston, Ontario is currently recruiting for a temporary locum full time Medical Oncologist effective Feb 1, 2026, with a term of at least 3 months.

    Preference will be given to a candidate with capacity to treat Gastrointestinal Cancers, but all applicants are welcome.   This may be ideal for a new graduate, or a locum with experience.   Duties will be predominantly clinical, including regular oncology clinics, and some inpatient coverage.  Locums may be involved in undergraduate and post graduate medical education, through the teaching, supervision and mentorship of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students at Queen’s.

    The identification of referees who can attest to the applicant’s clinical skills will be required. Qualified applicants will hold an MD degree (or equivalent), have completed postgraduate qualifications prior to appointment, and be eligible for licensure in Ontario. The successful applicant will hold a Term appointment at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with Radiation, Surgical Oncologists and Palliative Medicine physicians at the Kingston Health Science Centre and Providence Care.

    The Canadian Cancer Trials Group at Queen’s University invites applications for a tenured faculty position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor with a specialization that falls within oncology. We are seeking an outstanding and visionary cancer trialist for the position of Senior Investigator (SI) with CCTG. Interest/expertise in the areas of investigational experimental cancer therapeutics, translational laboratory research focused on clinical evaluation of treatment biomarkers, patient focused research in the areas of symptom science or health equity, or data science/artificial intelligence is of interest. Expertise in cancer clinical trial methods and conduct is required. As a CCTG Senior Investigator you will be co-principal investigator of individual trials, and leader within the CCTG program and the CCTG scientific committees developing and leading trials and related research. Exceptional candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor may be considered for a tenure-track position. Appointments will be within the Faculty of Health Sciences, within the relevant department(s).

    BC Cancer is looking for a full time or part time Medical Oncologist to join our experienced team of three Medical Oncologists and three FTE General Practitioners in Oncology at the McMurtry-Baerg Cancer Centre in Vernon, British Columbia.

    Eligible applicants have obtained Fellowship standing with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, and have obtained or are working towards a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology.  Applicants must also be eligible for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia and meet the requirements of credentialing by the Medical Advisory Committee of the BC Cancer.  In addition, applicants must be eligible for a clinical appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia and for appointment to the Medical Staff at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
