    The Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre (DGLDUHC) in Moncton, New Brunswick, is seeking to recruit a full-time salaried Medical oncologist. The DGLDUHC is a level 3 trauma centre and medical training centre affiliated with the Université de Sherbrooke.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Diploma from an approved school of medicine supplemented by post-graduate study in the area of specialization (Oncology);
    • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certificate (FRCPC);
    • Eligible for a licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New-Brunswick;
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
    • Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
    • Good work history (performance and attendance);
    • Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network’s management philosophy, and organizational values;

We are a renowned provider of clinical care and research, not only within the province but also on an international scale through our active participation in global committees and conferences. Our provincial cancer care network boasts six regional cancer centres and associated community oncology network clinics, where our team members work tirelessly to provide exceptional care.

    We are currently in search of highly qualified Medical Oncologists to join our team at regional cancer centres and satellite clinics. As a Medical Oncologist, you will be part of a well-established team of Medical and Radiation Oncologists within your selected centre, and more broadly, within the provincial structure for oncology care. You will be responsible for providing top-notch oncology consultation, patient care, teaching, and research as part of the interdisciplinary care team.

    For consideration, candidates will have obtained, or are working towards, Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology. Candidates must also be eligible for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia and meet the requirements of credentialing by the Medical Advisory Committee of BC Cancer.     The Department of Oncology at McMaster University and Hamilton Health Sciences are seeking two exceptional Academic Medical Oncologists specializing in gastrointestinal, lung or head and neck cancers. A special interest or expertise in developmental therapeutics (Phase 1 trials) will be considered for one of the two positions. Successful candidates will hold a full-time academic appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology, Department of Oncology, Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University.

    The Dr. Douglas A. MacIntosh Cancer Clinic - Belleville General Hospital, in partnership with The Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario (CCSEO)/Queen’s University is seeking a Medical Oncologist with interest in management of both malignant hematology and solid tumors.

    BC Cancer is looking for a full time or part time Medical Oncologist to join our experienced team of three Medical Oncologists and three FTE General Practitioners in Oncology at the McMurtry-Baerg Cancer Centre in Vernon. The McMurtry-Baerg Cancer Centre is a fully staffed clinic housed in the Interior Health Authority’s Vernon Jubilee Hospital, a 186 bed regional hospital offering on-site Radiology, Pathology, Surgery and Pharmacy services.  The Cancer Centre is part of BC Cancer and Interior Health’s Community Oncology Network and serves a number of local communities with a catchment area of approximately 90,000.  The Centre receives approximately 450 new consults and 6000 follow-ups a year, providing those patients a full range of IV and oral systemic therapies in a personalized practice environment.
