The Canadian Cancer Trials Group at Queen’s University invites applications for a tenured faculty position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor with a specialization that falls within oncology. We are seeking an outstanding and visionary cancer trialist for the position of Senior Investigator (SI) with CCTG. Interest/expertise in the areas of investigational experimental cancer therapeutics, translational laboratory research focused on clinical evaluation of treatment biomarkers, patient focused research in the areas of symptom science or health equity, or data science/artificial intelligence is of interest. Expertise in cancer clinical trial methods and conduct is required. As a CCTG Senior Investigator you will be co-principal investigator of individual trials, and leader within the CCTG program and the CCTG scientific committees developing and leading trials and related research. Exceptional candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor may be considered for a tenure-track position. The Department of Oncology at the Saint John Regional Hospital serves as an Adult Tertiary Cancer Centre and is a leader in multidisciplinary cancer care within the province, specializing in Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Hematology. The centre offers comprehensive oncology services, including an inpatient unit, an ambulatory clinic, an active research unit, and autologous stem cell transplantation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A medical degree is required.
